On Friday, the Ironmen trav- elled to Walkerton and returned with a 4-3 victory. Brett Sang- ster and Brad Robinson scored singles while Eric Sikkenga notched two. Jason Becker had two assists. At home on Sunday, the Iron - men embarrassed the Wiarton Wolves 14-4. Brent Williams scored three times, Sangster twice, Eric An- drew twice with Brad Anderson, Tim Good, Chris Buchanan, Sik- kenga, Terry Williams, Brad Robinson and Nic Goetz adding singles. Eric Andrew had four assists in the victory, along with two assists from Sikkenga and Justin Murray. Tim Swan stopped 19 of 23 shots to earn the win at home while David Bartman earned the victory in Walkerton. Fun Run set dor Oct. 15 Lace up your shoes and stretch your legs. It's time to prepare for the Big V Festival City Fun Run being held in Stratford on Sunday, Oct. 15. This road race, sponsored by The Lung Association, Huron - Perth Counties, provides an op- portunity for all runners, young and old to come out, have some fun, be eligible to win great priz- es and take on a personal chal- lenge. The Festival City Fun Run consists of two great races, a one mile event starting at 9 a.m., and a 5 -km event beginning at 9:30 a.m. To register, races may: send in the registration form from the Lung Association's flyer, availa- ble at all local fitness clubs and sports stores including Runners' Choice, Waterloo and London; phone 1-519-271-7500 and sign up using VISA or Mastercard; or register the day of the event at the Kiwanis Community Centre, Lakeside Drive, Stratford at least one-half hour prior to start time. All those whose entries were received before Oct. 1 will receive a Festival City Fun Run t -short plus benefit from paying only $18 as opposed to $20 the day of the event. In both the one mile and 5 -km runs, there will be six age divi- sions for men and women 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; and 50 and over. Awards will be given to the top finishers in each each age category, plus the top three overall winners. Results will be kept by Meets Results Systems of London. Following the run, there will be great food, awards and prizes. Runners must be in attendance to win a draw prize.
