He earned 22 out .of a possible 30 points, and was one of two Wingham swimmers taking part in the meet. Schill set personal best marks in all six events, claiming firsts in the 100 metre breaststroke, the 100 metre backstroke, the 50 metre freestyle, seconds in the 100 metre freestyle, and the 200 metre indi- vidual medley, and a third in the 400 metre freestyle. Lesley Burton had personal best times in the 10 -11 -year-old girls 200 'metre breaststroke and the 200 metre backstroke, placing sec- ond in both.
