The Canadian Cancer Society in

Mother's Day guests at the home
of Freda Johnston were Brad and

Last Friday, Mrs. Howard Zet-
tler, RR 4, Walkerton, visited with
her mother, Beth Procter and later
dined out for a delicious meal. On
Saturday, Mrs. Larry Mayberry of
Londesborough visited with her
mother, Mrs. Procter. On Saturday
evening, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Proct-
er and Karen visited Mrs. Procter.
Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Stopforth and
Alexandria also were weekend
guests and took their mother out for
supper. On Mother's Day, Marjorie
Stopforth and Mrs. Procter attended
the Anglican Church service at
Brussels.

Cam and Alice Yuill recently
celebrated their 10th wedding anni-
versary by dining out with Albert
and Margaret Rotecisoender of

all against the Belgrave Devils and
beat them.
Last Sunday was a celebration
for Mother's Day, as well as a
birthday party for Camera Yuill at
the home of Cam and Alice Yuill.

anne Warwick = last Wednesday,
May 17, for meetings four and five.
The meeting opened with the 4-
H Pledge and members spoke about
different methods. of communica-
tion, including sign language, cor-
respondence by computer, mail or
telephone. We played different
games deal;ing with communica-
tion skills and we learned some dif-
ferent languages and had a lot of
fun doing it.
Later, we spoke 'about the care
and attention of various; animals.
The girls learned that in order to
keep a pet it has to have proper care
and attention, good food and proper
housing.
Achievement night will• be held
at the Bluevale Hall on May 31 at
7:30 p.m. Anyone interested in at-
tending is very welcome. The meet-
ing adjourned at 9 p.m. The next
meeting is tonight, May 24.

session was held prior to the play-
