Carl's Celtics claimed the
playoff championship for the
Tuesday Commercial Bowling
League with a total pinfall of
10,240.
IVIembers of the team were Carl
Good, Heather Mclntosh, Sandra
Lowrie, Trudy Hill, Paula Shaw
and Stephanie Cleghorn. Awards
were presented Friday evening at
the Wingham Legion.
The Jegular season crown was
claimed' -`by . ed's Timberwolves
with 113 points.'

Durnin, and Linda Hick
Tammy Cleghom costed the
women's high average uring the
regular season with a 208. Rob
McKenzie had the men's high av-
erage with a 215.
Linda Hickey rolled the wom-
en's high single with a 355. Rick
Hill had the men's high single with
a one -game pinfall of 327.
Lori Tiffin rolled the women's
high triple with a three -game total
,pinfall of 818. Carl Good had the
men's high triple with a three -
game pinfall of 738.
Paula Shaw and Shani Webb
were the most improved women's
bowlers, increasing their averages
by eight pins. Bruce Currie was
the men's most improved bowler,
increasing his average by 11 pins.
Betty Stanley had the women's
high single during the playoffs
with a 276 and Bruce Currie rolled
the men's high single with a 301.
Stephanie Cleghom had the
women's high triple during the
playoffs with a three -game pinfall
of 661. Reg Sewers had the men's
high triple with a 695 pinfall.
Recording perfect attendance
for the year were Betty Stanley,
Cathy Benniger, Linda Hickey,
Lori Tiffin, Carl Good, Paula
Shaw and Heather McIntosh.
Captains for the 1995-96 season
are Ann Sweiger, Trudy Hill, Lori
Tiffin, Stephanie Cleghom, Paula
Shaw and Betty Stanley.
Ted Moran is the president for
1995-96, Terry Sweiger is the
treasurer, and Tammy Cleghorn is
the secretary.

There were 11 tables of euchre in
play at` the Women's Institute Hall
last Wednesday.
Aiice Nicholson was the high
lady and Mary Taylor was second
high. Lois Chamney" had the most
lone hands and Jane Grasby was
low lady.
Harvey Edgar ar was the high man
a Jim Coultes, second high. Bob
Gras had the most lone hands
and K McCormick (playing as a
man) was low.
LEGION SHOOT
A total of 17 tables of shoot
players enjoyed competition last
Monday night at the Wingham Le-
gion Hall.
Marj Coultes was the high lady
and Verna Curries second high.
Lloyd Montgomery was high man
and Sam Thompson, second high.
Merle McFarlane had the most
shoots for the ladies and Ross Tay-
lor for the men.
Draw prizes went to Olive Ja-
mieson, Marg Metcalfe, Lois
Chamney, Marie Chittick and
Agnes Cameron.
The next Legion card party, a eu-
chre, will be held on Monday, May
1.
HAPPY GANG SHOOT
A shoot party was held in the
Wingham Armouries last Tuesday,
sponsored by the Wingham Happy
Gang seniors.
Prizes went to the following:
high lady, Nell Johnston; second
high, Marie Merkley; high man,
Alex Robertson; se cond high, Kay
McCormick and lone hands, Mar-
garet McVittie, Betty Newman and
Jean Robertson.

third with four wins and +83. Jim
Nelson of Walkerton was fourth
with four wins and +76. Eric Hewitt
of Kincardine was fifth with four
wins and +58, and Skip Rogers of

was seventh with three wins and
