Matt Rozendal scored three goals in the Novice Bs first game, as they scored a 9-0 decision over London. Jason Thompson collect- ed two goals and one assist with Brittany Campbell getting one goal and two assists. Evan Zinn and Mia Bieman had one goal and one assist each. Josh Hicks scored one goal and Anthony Roberts and Kyle Readman collected two as- sists each. Nick Henderson recorded the shut out in the Wingham goal. Henderson posted a shut out in the team's second contest as they defeated Mitchell 4-0. Thompson scored all four goals for the Novice Bs with Zinn earn- ing two assists and Hicks receiv- ing a single helper. RECYCLE THIS PAPER 4 Three members .of the Wingham Optimist Track and Field Club left their marks at the annual Windsor Classic Games for the physically disabled. Kyle Dore returned home with five gold medals and four meet records. He ran the 60 metres in 13.4 seconds, the 200 metres in 47.1 seconds, the 400 metres in 2:04.88 minutes, had a jump of 2.17 metres in the long jump, and a throw of 3.36 metres in the shot put. Jocelyn Dore continued the winning streak with . two gold and three silver medals. She also set four meet records, but had to settle for silver in two events because of an older competitor also breaking the record. She won gold in the 400 metres with a time of 2;17.6 minutes, the long jump with a leap of 1.96 me- tres, won silver in the shot put with a toss of 3.36 metres, in the 60 metres in 16.9 seconds, and in the 200 metres in 57.1 seconds. Andy Shaw also did well as he set four personal bests, set a meet record in the 200 metres and won two gold and two silver medals. Shaw won gold in the 200 me- tres in 29.49 seconds, and the 400 metres in 1:08.2 minutes, lost the gold by 2/100's of a second in the 60 metres and had to settle for sil- ver in the long jump after breaking the meet record, but was narrowly defeated on the last jump of Steve McCowan of Brucefield. Skills competition Joel Riley took second place honors in the novice division of the Bayfield Skills Competition held earlier this month in Bayfield. Bill McGrail placed fourth in the novice division. This was his first year in the event. There. were 12 novice competitors. Kyle Courtney of Bayfield was first in the novice division and Zack Van Den Brock of Goderich placed third. Jerrad Riley was third out of eight competitors in the atom divi- sion.
