Beatty sort through a mountain of items donated to the Wingham headquarters of the bureau. The
bureau accepts new toys, children's clothing, food or dollars to be distributed to families in need of
some help at Christmas time.

Mrs. Hazei Laidlaw returned
home st week after visiting in

borough, returned home last week
after spending a few days in
Roseville, Michigan.
Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Simpson
returned home Sunday evening
frOm a month's trip to California.
While there, they attended the wed-
ding of their daughter, Darlene, to
George Henderson. The wedding
was held on the lawn of his home
inA suburb of Los Angeles and the

parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Hen-
derson Sr. of Pasadena. Hugh and
Mary motored out and had lovely
weather there and back, until they
hit the snowstorm at Grand Bend
on the return trip home. Mr. and
Mrs. Murray Simpson and Alex
and Mrs. Jeanie Sahli of Windsor
flew down for a week for the wed-
ding.
Mrs. Shirley Smith of Salt
Springs, B.C., visited a few days
last week with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Russell Chapman.
Mr. and Mrs. Tom Day attended
the information night at the Luc -
