Stan Soltysik united in marriage Stephanie Dimelow and Grant Jolly, both of Wingham. Parents of the couple are t Malcohn and Belinda Dimelow and Eric and Irene Jolly, all of Wmgham. Janet Brophy provided organ music throughout the double -ring candlelighceremony and Lavonne Ballagh was soloist The bride was 14" given in marriage by her father. For her special day, Stephanie 4' - chose a floor -length dress of pm' wets satin with cathedral train. 't Embroidered Lice trimmed the V , neckline and long lilypoint sleeves and iridescent sequins and •pearls adorned the bodice. She carried a bouquet of orchids and white roses, enhanced with stephanotis and ivy Francine Dimelow of Wingham was her sister's honor attendant and bridesmaids were a close friend, Maureen Pauls of Edmonton and the groom's sister, Penny Jolly. of Kitchener. The bride's sister, Amanda Dimelow, was junior bridesmaid. All wore cocktail - length dresses of seafern g,reen_ MiChelle Mack of Listow©1 wa,z, flower girl, wearing a white long dress with green sash and lace accents. All the girls carried fans crested with silk flowers. , Greg Simpell of Wingham was best man at his friend's wedding and ushers were Ken Jolly of Leam- ington, the groom's brother and Kevin Mack of Listowel, the groom's brother-in-law. Wingham Legion Hall where guests were received by the wedding party and the parents. The bride's mother wore a fuchsia cocktail - length two-piece dress with an orchid corsage. The groom's moth- er chose a cream -colored cocktail - length dress with a tangerine rose corsage. The bride is a nursing graduate of Ryerson Polytechnical Institute and the groom is a graduate in auto mechanics at Fanshawe College Many win prizes at Legion euchre Several lucky people won prizes at the Legion euchre party Monday night of last week. Nine tables were in play. Mary Henderson had the high pink card; Graham Adams the high white -card. Three people tied for the most lone hands: Marg Smith, Helen Houghton and Jim Coultes, with Marg being the winner. Marg King had the low pink card and Irene Ferrier the low white card. Draw prizes were awarded to Marie Chittick, Russel Gaunt, Jean Howes, Bill Tiffin and Mae Lout -tit. Rainbow club enjoys craft display • Members of the Mary Hastings Rainbow Club enjoyed a display of crafts at their meeting. The special guest, Mrs. Grant Currie, was intro- duced by Genie Tiffin. She began by thanking the group for the dona- tion to Girl Guides, then gave a demonstration of crafts, making lit- tle angels andlanlinalkfroM felt. "One Day at a Time» was the poem read by Marjorie Wall to begin the meeting; which was host- ed by Mary Campbell, Georgeina Crothers, Gertie Tiffin and Merle Wilson. The monthly draw prize was won by Olive Jarnieson. The„Christmas meeting will be held Tuesday, Dec;;S, at 8.p.m., to which the men are -invited. Each lady is to. bring a few Christmas goodies and a small gift for her Secret Sister Rec Nes The Bluevale Recreation Associa- tion held two enjoyable nights for children and adults recently — a Hallowe'en dance and a bingo. The weather wasn't great' for the family bingo, but the turnout was good. There were several young and old 'happy whirlers. They were: Marg Moffatt, Bruce Ortlieb, Sandra Thompson, Betty Ortlieb, Todd Machan, Elizabeth Matz, Francine Shaw, Denise Schmidt, Mike Timm, Marion Fisher, Willa Harris, Shawn Fair and Nancy Laing. The association is sponsoring a Christmas craft and bake sale on Det. 9 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. —Photo by City Moon Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Kuntz are married at Formosa On Saturday, Aug. 19; at three o'clock, .Heather Elizabeth Renwick and Bruce Robert Kuntz exchanged marriage vows at Formesa Ware Conception Church. Heather is the daughter of Jim and Marg Renwick Of Delmore and Bruce is the son of Allan and Audrey Kuntz, Formosa. Rev. Anthony Azzopardi officiat- ed. Organist was Mrs. Connie MacEwen and soloists were Patti Grubb and Doug Inglis. The maid of honor was Kim Weber, friend of the bride. Brides- maids_included Jill Haelzle and Marilyn Ashley, sisters of the bride; Carol Grubb, friend of the bride; Donna Erb, sister of the groom and Brenda Renwick, sister-in-law of the bride. Flower girl was Julie Kuntz; eou.sht of the groom, Best man was Doug Ditner, friend of the groom. Guests were ushered by John Soers, friend of the Murry unt and Ciera •kuntz, brothers of the groom; Rich Grubb and Dan Bross, friends of the groom. The ringbearer was Paul Kuntz, cousin of the groom. A dinner and reception were held at the Mildmay -Carrick Recreation Complex.
