When she moved to Wingham from Exeter two years, ago, Mrs. Yale was astonished tofind the town had no Welcome Wagon rep- resentative. She decided to take it upon herself and contacted head office. The wheels •were'put in motion and earlier this. year, she became Wingham's first Welcome Wagon representative in several years. The response to her Welcome Wagon visits has been fabulous, says Mrs. Yake and adds that most people are overwhelmed to learn that the town cares. She knows what it is like to come to a small community and not know anyone.
