The proposed amendments affect south half Lot 30, Conces- sion 4, in the Township of East Wawanosh (see map below). The purpose of the proposed official plan amendment is to change the designation on the subject property from "Agricul- ture" to"Extractive Resources". The purpose of the proposed zoning by-law amendment is to change the zoning on the sub- ject, lands from "General AgricuIure (AGI)" to"Extractive Re- sources ( R1)".
