Stop -work order
issued on building
Turnberry council has instructed
its building inspector, Alex Mac-
Donaid, to issue a stop -work, order
on a building currently under con-
struction in the township.
At the second monthly meeting
of Turnberry council, it was report-
ed that a miniature storage building
is being constructed at the Hodgins
HomeCare site just outside Wing -
ham.
However, the building permit,
issued earlier this year, states the,
building was to be used for lumber
storage. r
As the storage use contravenes
the zoning bylaw, an amendment
must be made. In the meantime, a
stop -work order remains in effect.
Turnberry is
willing to pay for
zoning, services
- Turnberry council has offered to
pay any,. costs, zoning or services,
