Gen- erally, they are using the park between the hours of 1. and 6 a.m. Mr. Wittig suggests that some control regulations may have -to be developed at the council level, but first the commission should pro- vide its input into what is becoming a problem in several local commu- nities. 1 -le adds that Canada's vagrancy law was repealed several years ago and therefore cannot be fallen back upon. The police board will discuss the matter more fully at a later meet- ing. Hullett to host retriever trials The Southwestern Ontario Re- triever Club is hosting the Grand National Retriever Trails for 1989 at the Hullett Provincial Wildlife Area, northeast of Clinton. This competition is held yearly and attracts competitors from all across Canada and most of the United States. It is expected that 85 of the "top dogs" will be involved in the com- petition over the course of the five days, Sept. 19 to 24. No birds are killed, nor is arty live game used in these competi- tions. This is the first time the event has been held here. For the safety of contestants and spectators, ample off-road parking is provided within the wildlife area. Cancer can be beaten.
