SENIORS' DAY
CENTRE NEWS
Avi,,.....radyfoomAR4,01fa
By Christine Gibson
Not only did the children head
back to school last week, but we
also headed back to the one -room
schoolhouse.
After the school bell rang, we
had our Frencri and math lessons.
Using calculators isn't as easy as
the seniors thought. Following a
short history lesson, we reminisced
about school days. There were lots
of stories about tipping the out-
house, dipping pigtails in the
inkwell and standing in the corner.
This week we will be viewing
"The Adventures of Glo". Gloria
Workman, our director, will be
showing slides of her adventurous
holiday. Next week we will be start-
ing a new craft for our craft and
bake sale on Nov. 23.
Our September program calen-
dars are now available.

bers, the September meeting is next
