Qualifications: aAppppl icants possessing the following qualifications are encouraged to • Graduate of a recognized University or Community College program in recreation or related field. • Five year full-time experience in Municipal recreation with at least three years at a management/supervisory level. • Ability to work with a wide variety of community and special interest groups. • Ability to analyze problems and present written and oral communications in a clear and concise manner. • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as leadership, management and public relations abilities. • Certification or eligibility for certification with the Parks and Recreation Federation of Ontario. • Also of interest would be a sound working knowledge of any of the following areas: arena refrigeration, swimming pool fiftration, pool management, mechanical equipment, facility design, energy conservation, first aid and CPR, cultural programming. Salary Range: $24,668 - $,918 commensurate with experience, skills and qualifica- tions. This salary range is currently under review.
