It seems like a very long tifne
since I sat down and wrote the
weekly. article. Things should .get
back to normal now that September
has rolled around.
£ Last week, the participants
enjoyed a unique storyabout a
}young boy's desire to travel to the
sea. The film was called "Paddle to
the Sea" and was enjoyed by every-
one.
_.,Q>ur.incem pplogies are extend.
ed to those of. you who head
planned to attend the Huron Coun-
try Playhouse in Grand Bend. Sorry
for the mix-up.
This week we will enjoy some
intellectual games that will bring us
back to those good old school days.
We will be spending a lot of time
this month as well working on
'crafts as our craft and bake sale is
fast approaching.
Next week I'll share with every-
one some of the adventures I expe-
rienced during my holidays. I have
some slides of the West, but I didn't
get any of white -water rafting
because I didn't want to get my
camera wet.
On Monday, Sept. 25, everyone is
invited to view the fall line of
clothes for Freedom Fashions, for-
merly Hewitt Therapy. The fashion
sale will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the
Armouries.
The next foot clinics are sched-
uled for Sept. 7 and 14. Please call
3547-1440 for an appointment.
A reminder to board members
that our next meeting is Sept. 18 at
1 p.m. I'm looking forward to see-
ing everyone again.
With many going back to school
at this time of year, September sym-
bolizes a time for new beginnings
and learning, even if it just means

picking up my outlook on life and
dusting it off.
One way that I do this is by tak-
ing the time to learn something
new, to spark my intellectual
curiosity If there are no new' major
"beginnings"' happeningitt your
life right now and you are looking
to make ,life more exciting, perhaps
you could take up a new hobby.
