Summer fun topic
at Rainbow Club
The July meeting of the Mary
Hastings Rainbow Club opened
with a reading entitled "Age Is a
Quality of Mind", by the president,
Marjorie Wall.
Copiesaala letter were circulated,
regarding the need to keep
Brookhaven open. Each member
placed her signature on a copy to
mail to the local MPP.
One of the members, Cindy Clark
and her husband, have a brand new
baby boy. Roll call was answered
by "Something you enjoyed doing
this summer or plan to do". The
monthly draw prize went to Cora
Clayton. The meeting was hosted
by Lavina Robinson, Mrs. Wall and
Irlma Casemore. ,
A few rounds of bingo were
played, after which all enjoyed
refreshments and a social time. The
next meeting will be held Aug. 1 at
8 p.m. Each member is requested to
bring a scarf and learn the art of
tying a scarf artistically.
