Our Mini -State television antenna
looks like a modest, tastefully designed
lietle flying
saucer. It is only
21" in diametre
and weighs just 6
lbs and comes
complete with
amplifier, rotor
and 60' co -ax
cable. But when
it is comparably located it performs as
well as that big cumbersome, conven-
tional monster you are used to. With its
remote tuner, you can zero in on precise
TV reception on any I II IF or V}E chan-
nel.

Hunting and fishing licences will
no longer be available from the
Wingham office of the Ministry of
Natural Resources, effective July 31,
1989.
District Administration Officer
Orville Crawford says the sale of
licences will be discontinued so the
ministry will not be competing
with local licence issuers. "This
approach brings us into line with
other Ministry offices across
Ontario," he explains.
Because of the relative low num-
bers and- the need to keep records,
the Ministry will continue to issue
raccoonlicences, raccoon dog
licences, bait fish licences and trap-
pers' licences, he adds.
Anyone requiring hunting or
fishing licences locally can pur-

Goods Ltd. in Wingham.

Canadian farmers are very inter-
ested in reducing the need for crop
protection and animalhealth and
production agents. As food prodite-
era we are, however, concerned
about the recent promotion of the
terms "organic", "natural" and "re-
sidue free".
At the present time, there are no
specific and common standards for
identifying such foods. A Federal
strategy should be developed to
standardizethe definitions of "or-
ganic", "natural" and "residue--:.
free", and federally sanctioned and
monitored standards must be .estab-
lished for the testing and certifica-
tion of these foods, for the protec-
tion of the food producer and the
