On a good day at the height of

plant rows. He feels prettrgood
about it. "I like to see the berries
picked and put to use." -
A. retired chicken producer,
Dewey has lived on Howick's 6th
Concession near Conte for 15

do," he recalls.
Later he expanded the patch, and
this year he has added yet another
section of young plants to increase

The weatherman cooperated
with us last week as we picnicked
in the park. Everyone enjoyed the
delicious noon- meal with fresh
strawberry pie for dessert. We
spent the afternoon throwing
horseshoes and Water balloons and
Atamr.v..v
playing other outdoor games. After
a refreshment break of lemonade
and watermelon, we packed up and
headed back to the centre.
Last Tuesday we spent the day at
the Huron Day Centre. We enjoyed
the entertainment in the afternoon
as we danced and listened to the
music provided by the Huron
Strings. We were also entertained
Wwith a couple of step -dance num-
