The w ngham -and . District Centennial Pool may be
rented Saturday mornings. Rental includes twolife-
' gua and use of change rooms, showers, and deck.
If more than two lifeguards are needed, the renter
will be Inked to pay an additional fee per hour.
PLEASE NOTE: All bookings must be made
through the Aquatic Guarding Co-ordinator
(Andrea Mill) at least 14 days prior to the rental
date. For more information please call the pool office
at. 357-1474 after June 18, 1989, or the Recreation
Department at 357-12prior to June 18, 1989.

camp. Therefore, you do not need t{ register your
child for swimming lessons the same session he/she
is enrolled in daycamp.

areas of swimming: safety, strokes and

BRONZE Must be 13 years old on or before
MEDALLLION the date of the exam. This program
prepares the candidate to respond
effectively in a variety of aquatic
emergencies. Items within this
award develop necessary swim-
ming skills, fitness, and judgement
to carry out rescues in and around
water. Must be able to swim 450
metres in 15 minutes.
TIME: 12:30 - 2:30 Session 1 only.
Prerequisite Bronze Medallion. Can
didate must be 14 years old on or
before- the date of the exam. This
course is a continuation of Bronze
Medallion and is a prerequisite for the
National Lifeguard Service.
TIME: 12:30 - 2:30, Session 1 only.
1. Parents with more than two children
registered in one session may register
each additional sibling for $19.00 in the -
same session (except for Bronze Cross
and Medallion),
2. Children must be four years of age
and 44 inches (112 cm) before register-
ing for swimming lessons.

Part of the pool will be reserved for parents and tots
every Tuesday and Thursday from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m.
An instructor will be available to work with you and
your child. Tuesdays and Thursdays - July 10 -
August 17. Cost: Drop In: $1.50 per day per parent
and tot(s). -

FAMILY SWIM
A special time set aside for families! Monday, Thurs-
days and Fridays, 6:30 -8:30 p.m. Saturdays and
Sundays 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Please Note: All children must be accompanied by a
parent or guardian during Family Swim.
TEENS
A special swim time just for you! Saturdays and
Sundays, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. the pool will be
reserved for you!
PUBLIC SWIM
During public swim all members of the community
are welcome to join us for a swim at the • " : • I. In
order to. ensure your safety we ask that the follow-
ing rules be observed.
1. Children must be at least 112 cm or 44 inches
or accompanied by an adult.
2. Children under 8- years of age must be
accompanied by a parent or a sibling 16 years of age
or older.
Public Swim Times:
