The program was challenging, the food excellent and plentiful- and the weather m cooperative, A special honor was accorded the Wingliam squadron when WO2 Marjorie Campbell was appointed deputy parade commander to lead the final Wings Parade consisting of approximately 800 cadets. The officers in charge of the Wingliam contingent were Capt. Mac . Anderson and Civilian Instructor Erika Hooftman. The following cadets participated in the experience: Richard Wilts, Elliott Bauer, Sean Whiteley, Bob Bennett, Chris Templeman, Vincent Brewer, Karen Procter, Marjorie Campbell, Beatrice Leuenberger, Sean -M hy, jenny Chettleburgh, Gerald core, Shawn Finn, Kelly McInnes, Wayne Hunter, Paul ge, Kim Mayberry, Pat McG- lynn, Cornelia Leuenberger, Jane - Ann Kennedy and David MacRae. Six cadets took part in the first annual Battle of the Atlantic memo- rial ceremony, sponsored by Wing - ham's Branch 180 of the, Royal Canadian Legion on Sunday, April 30. While their fellow squadron members were at Ipperwash, Cadets Yvonne Trapp, Cynthia Leuenberger, Fabienne Clausen, Tanya Bauer, Scott Girvan and Les Phillips attended the parade, chUrch service and wreath -laying activities at the local cenotaph, '`ecadets were awarded pri- ority boarding privileges when the uadron went gliding at the x1over airport last Sunday f'uring the squadron's regular tirade in the Armouries last ',editesday evening, the cadets tadp repations for this year's inspection. A big thank -you is. extended to all the people who helped make it such a success! Thank -you to those who came to our generation appreciation day on May 3, Parents, grandparents, neighbors and friends all enjoyed visiting the classrooms and viewing` the pupils' literary and art projects. Both the senior and junior choirs sang at the assembly, which was well attended by our guests. It was another successful event in the schoolyear Several of our students excelled at the Walkerton Music Festival.
