Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Kaster
Three Ms host
senior members
of congregation
Those members of the congrega-
tion at St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church who are 80 years of age and
older, were guests of the Three Ms
group recently.
The Three Ms were pleased to
welcome guest rom the nursing
home, lodge an hospital.
Cord's Old Tyme Music provided
entertainment prior to a full course
dinner. Cora Robertson was at the
piano. A sing -song was enjoyed
under the leadership of Betty
Richardson.
The climax of the afternoon was a
presentation of Australian slides by
Helen Underwood of Turnberry
Township. The slides were taken
when she and Mr. Underwood
vacationed there last year.
Accompanied by an interesting
commentary, she showed slides of
plants, bird sanctuaries, dingos,
houses and the landscape. They
even saw koala bears and plenty of
kangaroos.
Mrs. Underwood said she feels
that the people of Australia have a
more relaxed lifestyle than we do
here. She said she enjoyed her stay
there and recommended it to any-
one else.

Graber, Brussels, wish to announce the engagement of their sister,
Michele Lynne to Steven Murray, son of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Bray
of RR 2, Bluevale. The wedding will take place on May 20, 1989 at
St: John's Anglican Church, Brussels with a reception to follow at
the Brussels Legion.

Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Richard
Kaster begin their new life together
as husband and wife in an Easter
marriage ceremony in Wingham
United Church at 3:30 on March 25.
Mrs. Kaster is the former Debra
Madlynn Henry, daughter of 13ill
and Marie Henry of Wingham. Her
groom is the son of Richard and
Leone Kaster of Walkerton.
Rev. Rea Grant heard the couple's
vows and pronounced them hus-
band and wife. Special music was
supplied by organist Hap Swa-
tridge and by soloist Joyce Miller, a
friend of the bride and groom. East-
er lilies and baskets of spring flow-
ers decorated the church for the
double -ring ceremony.

in marriage by their parents. The
bridal gown was satin trimmed
with pearls and lace, floor -length
with a cathedral train. She carried a
bouquet of lilies and roses, accented
with pearls.
A friend of the bride, Brenda
Thompson of Belgrave, was maid
of honor and bridesmaids were the
bride's sisters, Jo -An; Young of
RR 3, Teeswater and Julie Henry of
Wingham and the groom's sister,
Kim Hallman of Petersburg. Susan
Henry was junior bridesmaid at her
sister's wedding and Miranda
Henry of Wingham, a cousin of the
bride, was flower girl. The bride's
attendants were dressed alike in
royal purple satin dresses, with
bouquets of lilies, roses, stephanotis
and pearls.
Jim Moffatt of Cobourg, a cousin
of the groom, was best man and
ushering guests were Marty Young,
brother-in-law of the bride, of RR 3,
Teeswater, Dwayne Kaster, cousin
of the groom, of Walkerton and
Mark Hallman, the groom's broth-
er-in-law, of Petersburg.
Mark also served as master of
ceremonies at the dinner and recep-
tion which followed at the Teeswa-
ter Complex. Herb Kenyon pro-
posed the toast to the bride. Guests
attended from Nova Scotia, Sarnia,
Kitchener, Stoney Creek, Wood-
stock, Walkerton, Orangeville,
Durham, La Follette and London.
Honored guests were the bride's
grandmother, Mrs. Gordon Deyell;
the groom's grandparents, Mrs.
Gordon Farrell and Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Kaster and the bride's
uncle, Robert Deyell of Nova Sco-
tia.
After travelling to Tennessee,
Kentucky and the southern states,
the couple established residence in
Wingham. The bride is employed in
the office of Stanley Door Systems
and the groom works for Kaster
Logging. The bride was honored at
several showers prior to her mar-

held at the home of Mrs. Georgina
Zimmerman where a dinner will be
enjoyed, hosted by the losing
Penny Team. A noon luncheon was
planned for May 25 and commit-
tees were organized.

GORRIE—A 75th birthday party
for Peter Browne was held Satur-
day, April .43, at the home of his
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and
Mrs. Perry Strong.

Mr. and Mrs. John Martin and fami-
ly, all of Scarborough; Mr. and Mrs.
Doug Browne, Mr. and Mrs. Hector

Games Night of the Come Alive
Club were Mae Hyndman, Velma
Mann, Florence Wilson and Her-
man Van Pelt for euchre and Nellie
Taylor for UNO.
Elva Jacques announced coming
events: the regular meeting of the
Come Alive Club on May 9 at 8
p.m.; the Adult Health Clinic in the
township hall on May 12, from 1:30
until 3:30 p.m.; and the next Games
Night on May 23 at 8 p.m.
The Bluevale seniors will host the
Zone rally on May 26 when Bob
Carbert will be the guest speaker.
