She was the- el daughter of the late Robert Gertrude Stobo of RR, 2, Tees Colleen attended Teeswater Con cation School and Wingham 'District High School. Follow graduation, she attended sum school in Toronto for two years. Colleen began her teach career in 1952 at the age of 17 Concession 10 of 'Carrick Town where she taught for two years. attended Stratford Teachers C lege and returned to teaching Stephen Township School in tralia. In 1957; Colleen began teach Grade 1 at .Wingham Public Scho She took a leave of absence in 1 to have her family. When s returned to teaching, it was to Tu berry Central School where s taught for two years. In 196 Colleen resumed teaching Grade at Wingham Public School whe she had taught for the past years. She had taught Kindergart since 1973.. Teaching school was a labor love for Colleen and her goal w to make her classroom a happ place for her students to begin th educational journeys. Those who miss her most are h husband, William Robertso whom 'she married on Aug. 2 1958, in Teeswater Presbyteria Church; their children, Sherry an Charlie Young of Belmont, Jacqui and Kevin Bishop of Seaforth and very special granddaughter, Keshi Bishop. She was also loved dear] and will be missed by Margare Robertson of Wingham, her moth- er-in-law; and her brothers and sis- ters: Gloria and Donald Dow of RR 3, Wingham; Lloye and Stewart Wathke of RR 2, Desboro; Donald and Elizabeth Stobo, RR 2, Teeswa- ter; David and Donna Stobo of Teeswater; Bruce and Lois Robert- son of Gerrie and several nieces and nephews. dest Andrew's �Preah and Wingham, bye *' 1 r, water. Mrs. Robertson's final resting er place is Wingham Cemetery. n, 3, n d e a a y t Richard Reece dies, was Madill custodian A. custodian at F. E. Madill Sec- ondary School for the past 17 years, Richard Henry Reece of 154 Carling Terrace, Wingham, died April 9 at Victoria Hospital's Westminster Campus, London. He was in his 64th year. Mr. Reece was born in Liverpool, England, a son of the late James Reece and the former Anne Webb. He was a merchant seaman for 23 years, serving in the Royal Navy Able -Bodied Seaman Submarine Service. He married the former Lily Cooke in Liverpool on March 17, 1956, and they came to this country on Dec. 21,1963. Mr. Reece was a member of St.. . Paul's Anglican Church where he had served as sexton for 10 years. He was Sergeant -at -Arms of Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 180, Wingham. Left to mourn his death, besides is wife, are his son, Neil Reece an wife Pat of London; his daughte Cheryl Reece of Wingham and t grandchildren, Sonya, 10, an Brandy, 6, both of London. Funeral service was held Thurs day at two o'clock at St. Paul's Anglican Church. The McBurney Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements and was, Douglas Madge was the officiating clergy- man. Pallbearers were bon Farnell, Clarence Ohm, James Saint, Jack Blackwell, Vince Mclnnes and Dave Crothers. Bert,110forin was medal bearer. Richard Reece's final resting place will be Wingham Cemetery. Births NIVINS Jim and Sharon (Alton) are proud to announce the birth of their first child, David James Kenneth, born April 4 and weighing nine pounds, one ounce, at St. Joseph's Hospital, London.
