The poster is inspired by Massey Ferguson agricultural posters from the turn of the century. Famous Massey harvesting machines —Sharp's hay rake and hay binder — of the 1890s are featured in the illustrations. Ms. Kiar grew up in Cambridge and received her commercial art training in Brantford. Her work has been exhibited in group showings in Toronto, Guelph and Waterloo, with solo exhibits featured at her Goderich gallery as well as galleries in 13ayfiercl, Paisley and galtford and at the Myth Centre for the AM Since 1966, she has taught art classes for children 4114-4011g4S for a variety of organizations including many Conestoga College courses in Goderich this year. - - Since moving to Goderich in 1973, her commercial art designs have been used by many organiza- tions throughout Huron County Some special projects on which she has worked are the Huron Comity Historical Atlas, designs for Goderich Little Theatre plays, designs for two parks, and as orga- nizer of the 1975 Festival of the Arts. , THE ELDEROBJC MOONWALK has become an annual event for Wingham and Area Day • tre for the Homebound clients. Participants chose a hot June day in 1947 for that year's version of the walk. The centre celebrates its 10th year of operation this -Thursday at an open house at the Wingharn Armouries. ITSST • .
