Responsibilities:
Executive director is responsible for management of Residen-
tial Life skills and family support programs. As an 'agent of
Board of Directors, he/she carries out their policies and proce-
dures. The executive director ensures clients receive appropri-
ate support, staff are adequately supervised and that all as-
pects of the associations financial affairs are managed. Duties
include the positive promotion of the association, its programs
and its image of people who have handicaps.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have strong skills in communi-
cation. He or she will have experience comparable to that of a
person who has worked with the handicapped people for 5
years and who has supervised others for at least 2 years.
Knowledge of the relevance legislation an
meat will be essential. Education at d financial manage -
level will be
as asset. The successful, candidate will demontstrate skills in
negotiation and personnel management.
Salary: $27,310 to $31,315
