Roll call was answered with a suggestion for keeping healthy by each of the 22 present. Invitations were received from the Wingham and Area Day Centre for the Homebound to their 10th anz niversary and Open House on April 20 and from the Gorrie Women's Institute to a dessert party on March 16. A tentative bus trip to Erland Lee - Home and the Adelaide Hoodless Home was announced for June 6. Mrs. Charles Mathers reported on a meeting she attended at the Huron County Health Unit in Clinton where a strategic health plan was discussed. Mrs. Bert Garniss introduced the guest speaker, Mrs. Paula Blagrave, a dietician on sabbatical from Wingham hospital, who gave an informative and, interesting talk on nutrition. She was presented with a gift of appreciation from Mrs. Garniss. Children from area public speaking contests entertained the members with their selections on varied topics. Contestants included Damien Galley, Tammy Adams, Shawn Fair, Dana Mathers, Joel Pegg, Charlotte Matz, Cheryl Garniss, Adani .Garniss, Julia Elston, Sara Lamble, Anita MasSeSr, Ann Garniss andNalicy Darlow..
