to last week's winter carnival at the Howick Central School, meet-
ing students Corrie Weber and Danny Glaze.
Carol Crawford, Cashier of Zehrs Markets,
Hwy. #4 and Josephine St., Wingham,

$776.67 to Mrs. Margaret L. Webster, Presi-
dent of Reg. Nurses of Wingham Hospital,
whose organization redeemed .Zehrs 'cash
register tapes in order to purchase stroller for
pediatric ward.

Ted Smith of Smith's valu-mart in
ListoweV was guest speaker when
the March Meeting of the senior cit-
izens was held. He spoke to the
group on shopping for seniors, Be
also told the history of the store and
how shopping has changed over
the years, both •money -wise and va-
riety -wise. He answered many
questions for the seniors.
Mr. Smith generously donated
his gift to the Crime Stoppers orga-
nization of Listowel.
The meeting was well attended
and, after the singing of grace and a
bountiful potluck dinner, opened in
the usual manner with the singing
of "0 Canada' and " appy Birth-
day" to two members. her guests

Clement from the Howick Non -
Profit Housing Corporation, who
explained the need for a non-profit
complex in Howick Township for
seniors. There is a definite need for
