sometime this year.
Mr. McCall made the statement
during his report presented at the
MVCA's annual meeting in
Wroxeter on Thursday.
He said the authority is somewhat
disappointed at not being able to
begin Phase 7 in 19.., but -the MVCA
had experienced difficulties in
negotiating an easement agreement
with one of the affected landowners
and subsequent expropriation
proceedings meant another delay in
the project.
"We anticipate that the project
will proceed sometime in 1989 and
look forward to its ultimate
completion," Mr. McCall said.
During the last year the authority
undertook a restructuring of its
advisory boards. "The result, I
believe, is that our directors are now
better informed."
In :1988, :the MVGA also: began
;preliminary engineering for a tai
Capital erosion control project at the
Goderith Bluffs. The project will
continue this year with the class en-
vironmental assessment: and assum-
ing that = fundings is available,. cOwF_
