Mrs. Doubledee, the former Mar-
jorie Baker; passed .away at
Pahnerston and District Hospital on
Monday, Jan, 30, following a brief
illnes.§. She was 80 years (Li age. The
daughter of the late Robert Baker.
and Melissa MacKersie, she, was
born in Howick Township on Oct. 7,
1908. She attended SS No. 4, Howick,
and the Wroxeter Continuation
School.
On June 27, 1936,e married
Frederick Donhiidee sat the manse
in Benmiller,. with, Rev
Wylie �fficiating. They. lived on the
Doubledee 4144 •
Road 12 from 1936 until 1973 *hen
they -retired to wingham.:* were

grandchildren. She was predeceased
by her sister, Doris Baker. 1.

HARCOURT — Miss Myrtle Kath-
erine Harcourt of 665 Carnation
Blvd., Cambridge, died peacefully
at the. Cambridge Memorial Hos-
pital on Saturday, Jan. 28, following
several years' illness. She was born
May 26, 1926, in Saugeen Township,
near Paisley, youngest daughter of
the late Richard Harcourt and
Katherine Rolston. She was pre-
deceased by three sisters: Winnifred
Harcourt of _Wingham, Mrs. Bernie
(Phyllis) Rutledge of- Toronto a0
Mrs. Glen (Nadine) Sinnamon of
Wingham; also one brother, Alvin
Harcourt of Port Elgin. Left to
mourn are Victoria Jones, lier eldest
" sister, of Pinecrest Manor, Luck
-
now; her brother, 'Wilmer and his
wife, Pearl, of Wingham; also five
nieces and five nephews. Funeral
service was held Monday, Jan. 30, at
2:30 at the Nelson Funeral Home,
Cambridge. Spring interment Will
take place* Wingham Cemetery.

BENNETT Passed away at Wing -
ham and District Hospital -on Sun-
day, Feb. 5, Mrs. Margaret O. Ben-
nett of !Ingham in he 66th year.
The former Margaret Haines, she
was the beloved wife of Roy E. Ben-
nett; dear mother of Joan and Bill
Dabble, RR 2, London, Ruth. and
Bruce Steedman of Espanola, David
and Karen Bennett of Waterloo;
daughter of Mrs. Victor (Freda)
Haines of Pinecrest Manor, Luck -
now; sister Of John Haines and Mrs.
John (Mary) McIntosh both of
Wingham, Wilfred Haines of RR 4,
Wingham and Mrs. Jim (Helen)
14ininger, Ottawa. She is also
survived by seven grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her father,
J. Victor 'Haines. Friends may call
at The McBurney Funeral Home on
Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Complete funeral _ service will be
held in the funeral home Wednesday
at 1:30, Rev. J. Rea Grant offi-
ciating. Interment will foliar" in
Wingham Cemetery. Huron Chapter
89, Order of the Eastern Star will
hold a memorial service in the
funeral home Tuesday at 7:15. As
expressions of sympathy, memorial
donations to the Canadian Cancer
Society or Wingham and District
Hospital would be appreciated by
