Public Works Superintendent
Chief Building Inspector
.The Townof Wingham is currently seeking applications for
the position of Public Works Superintendent/Chief Building
• Official.
The successful candidate will direct a public works force of
six full time and various seasonal employees to maintain
roads, sewers, sidewalks, cemetery and other related munici-
pal • functions including responsibility for buildings and
equipment.
As well, the candidate will be required to perform all the
functions of the Chief Building Official under the Building Code
Act and related municipal by-laws.
Proven management expertise is essential, including the
ability to communicate with the public and municipal staff.
Previous Municipal experience is not essential but would be
considered an atset.
• Salary will be commensurate with education and training but
the midpoint of the 1988 salary grid for this position is cur-
rently $31,800 for proven job performance.
