Mr, Hanly appeared at the regular January meeting of town council to answer some questions concerning the wording of .the bylaw and an accompanying agreemenl. Council's reservation centred mostly on the word "donate" used in the agreement to explain how certain equipment purchases will be turned back to the county rescue support system — a joint venture of the Exeter, Clinton and Wingham area fire departments. Although the OMB has given ap- proval to the collection agreement, the program is still awaiting MOE. approval for funding before it pro- ceeds.
