extend sympathy to Mr. and Mrs.
Don Hawkins and family (formerly

lost their home by fire just before
Christmas. They were not able to
save anything.
Trinity Anglican Church, Ford-
wich and St. Stephen's, Gorrie, held
a combined Christmas Eve candle-
light service in Gorrie. Special
music was provided by the junior
and Gorrie Choirs, under the direc-

Christmas concert in the church

The opening recitation was given
by Doreen Wintemute''s clan: Erin
Hutchinson, Angela deBoer and Ben
Shipman. Cindy Hutchinson's class,
Mark Bridge, Stephanie Schwemler,
Tyson deBoer, Stephen Haasnoot,
Richard Hays and Jeff Louttit, acted
out rhymes.
Piano solos and duets were
presented by Aaron and Jennifer
Barrie and Angela deBoer.
Recitations were given by Ben
Shipman, Jonathan Schwernler,
Scott Chambers, Erin Hutchinson
and Angela deBoer.
Karen McMichael's and Stephanie
Kaster's class, the kids in the kit-
chen,presented a marching kitchen
band, using as instruments utensils
from the kitchen. They also recited a
recitation. The participants were
Gregory Hutchinson, Miranda
HaaSnoot, Scott Chambers.,
Brad
Sturgeon, Lori Bridge, Jamie Leuttit
and Mitchell deBoer.
Ed Barrie's class, Jennifer and
Aaron Barrie, presented a play and

were cheerleaders in a Christina's
Cheer skit. The Christmas story was
presented by the entire Sunday
School, with Ed Barrie as the
narrator and Ethel McMichael at
the piano.
The closing recitation was given
by Aaron Barrie, followed by the
presentation of attendance cer-
tificates and seals by Rev. Jeff
Hawkins. The recipients were: first-
year certificates, Mitchell and
Angela deBoer; second -year seal,
Gregory and Erin Hutchinson, Mark
Bridge, Brad Sturgeon, Lori Bridge; a
