Thank you our volunteer turkey Bookers for helping outwith that job• We all enjoyed the entertiiinment in the afternoons by local schwa children. Entertainment will be provided by Gord's Old Tyme Music and a visit from Santa Claus will be the highlight of the day. The centre will be closed from Dec, 21 until Jan. 3. Programs will commence Jan. 3. In closing I would like to wish everyone all the peace and joy of the Christmas season and a very Happy New Year. See you in `89! Bridge Motors, Crawford are WI H L winners Bridge Motors downed the Stainton Spitfires 9-1 last week. Leading the way for Bridges were Blair Thorne, Bob Alton and Stan Stapleton with two goals apiece. Singles were scored by Terry Armstrong, Steve (Tubor) MacKay and Doug Merkley. Scoring the lone goal for the short-handed Stainton squad was Bill Kerr. Crawford Motors trounced the Advance -Times 14-3 in other action last week. Leading the way for Crawfords were Dave Golley and Bill Glassier with a pair each. Advance -Times goals were scored by Mike Stewart with two and Murray Willis for the single.
