Ripley 2, Blyth 1 After giving their opponents a 1-0 lead on a second -period goal by Brian McNichol, Ripley -came back to record a 2-1 decision. Tim Van- sickle tied the score at the 7:37 mark of the final frame. Then just over two minutes later, Wes Houghton fired the game winner. Drayton 3, Clifford 0 Ryan Cherrey's shut -out per- formance sparked Drayton to a 3-0 blanking over Clifford. Jeremy Wilfing led the Drayton offence with a pair of goals while Brad Cherrey added a single. Palmerston 6, Mildmay 2 Robbie Dietrich and Joel Martin scored two goals each while Stephen Carrier and Jamie Mustard added singles as Palmerston rang up a 6-2 win over Mildmay. Palmerston scored six consecutive goals before Mildmay countered with goals by Mike Smith and Troy McDiarmid. Zurich 4, Shelburne 3 A three -goal outburst during a four -minute span in the third period proved to be the difference as Zurich edged Shelburne 4-3. Shelburne held a 1-0 lead after first -period action on a goal by Kevin Cowan. Dwight Gingerich tied the score with the lone second -period marker. Then, early in the final frame Chad Ramer, Jeff Kirk and Kris Schenk connected for goals less than five minutes apart to give Zurich the edge as Scott Teeter's two -goal effort proved to be too little. Seaforth 6, Fergus 3 Jason Henderson paced Seaforth to a 6-3 win over Fergus in the B1 final with a three -goal performance while setting up one other. Hen- derson scored the lone first -period marker, giving Seaforth a 1-0 lead. Steve McNally made it 2-0 early in the second stanza before Tom Grant cut the lead in half. Henderson notched his second goal early in the final frame to restore the two -goal lead. Fergus came back with two goals to tie the score at 3-3 on markers by Mike Anderson and Brett Turner. Thirty seconds later, Seaforth regained the lead for good on a goal by Boyd Devereaux. Henderson completed his hat trick later at the 6:50 mark and Jason Murray rounded out the scoring with his goal at 5:58. But Baler had other things to say about the outcome and his third goal of the game with just 55 seconds left on the clock proved to be the winner. Palmerston 7, Zurich 3 Robbie Dietrich scored two goals and assisted on one other to help Palmerston record a 7-3 win over Zurich for the B2 consolation. Stephen Henderson had one goal and assisted on three others to help the cause. Other goal scorers were Danny Sinclair, Joel Martin, Jamie Mustard and Gary Rissell.
