BELMORE–A Christer dinner
in, the Cosy Restaurant, Teeswater,
was the annual treat for the
December meeting of the Belmore
Women's Institute.
Nineteen members and guests
enjoyedturkey and all the
trintnings, with no dishes to be
washed
Afterward, the ladiesseturned to
the Belmore Cup, Triunity Centre for
a short meeting, where each one
gave a reading or potm as follows:

BLUEVALE—The December
meeting of the Women's Institute
was held at the hall with nine
members and two guests present.
President Mrs. Wendell Stamper
opened the meeting with a poem,
"Old -Fashioned Christmas". Roll
call was answered by showing a
Christmas hobby or describing a
family tradition.
Each member- provided a poem,
reading or musical number. A
carolsing was enjoyed, led by Mrs.

William Peacock, accompanied at
the piano by Mrs. Stanley Moffat.
Mrs. Charles Mathers was selected
to represent the Institute on the
Bluevale Hall Board.
Mrs. Mathers demonstrated the
making of a fruit tray which was
enjoyed by all for lunch. She was
assisted by Mrs. Bert Garniss
The January 11 meeting will be
convened by Mrs. Mel Craig and
Mrs. Harry Elliott and will be held
at the home of Mrs. Elliott.
