After dinner, Mrs. Elmer Harting
opened the business meeting with a
reading, "The Spirit :Of Christma".
Minutes of the last meeting were
approved by Mrs. Leo Ruttan and
Mrs. Harding, Ron Call, "Your
favorite Christmas carol", was
answered by 23 members. Some
humorous readings by Mrs. George
Richards, Mrs. Ruttan and Mrs..
Scott Clarkson were enjoyed,
followed by singing carols.
Mrs. Don Beck opened the worship
service with the call to worship and
scripture reading from the second
chapter of St. Luke's Gospel. The
Christmas story program was
presented by Mrs. Beck, Mrs.
Harding, Mrs. Ruttan and Mrs.
Harold Gibson. Mrs. Richards sang
"Lo In A Manger", accompanied by
Miss Minnie McElwain. Another
scripture reading was followed by a
reading, "Three Kings", by Mrs.
Glenn Johnston and Mrs. Jack
Wilson sang "There's A Song in the
Air". "The Three Chests", a legend
by Merle Ackeft, was given by Mrs.
Beck. Three candles Were lit,
candles of love, joy and peace.
