1989 was given by Lilian McCallinn.
The Bruce Presbyterial annual

United Church on Monday, March 6.
The theme is "Foundations for
Living", based on I Corinthians 3,

asked to take a Bible and bag lunch.

Over 200 ladies attended the five
area fall festivals and good topics
were presented.
The Leadership division told of
program material now available at
the Bruce Presbytery Resource
Centre. Citizenship urged the

and Stewardship said that the
Mission and Service Fund of the
United Church* the best place for
project money.
The program for the day was
prepared by the Stewardship divi-

REALLY Is My Neighbor?". Lieut.
Robert Brown of the Hanover Sal-
vation Army spoke about his work
with people who need help. He an-
swered several questions for the
ladies and took back with him boxes
of canned goods which had been
brought to be used in Christmas food
hampers.
The worship service focused on
"Reaching Out in Response" and
included scripture reading, a hymn,
prayer and a dialogue on poverty.
The underlying message of all was
the fact that "the needs of the poor
should have priority over the wants
of the rich".
