ORRIE--On the evening o
Tuesday, Nov. 1, St. Stephen's Gated,
met at the home of Jean Underwood
As this was the final meeting until
the new year, officers were chosen.
Mrs. Cherie Farrish returns aS
president; Mrs. Lynda Kerley " is
vice-president; Mn. Cynthia Van
Pelt and Mrs, Jean Underwood are
secretaries and Mrs. Lorna Koebel
is in charge of advertising.
Mrs. Fairish opened the meeting
with the General Thanksgiving and
Mrs. Koebel led members in
devotions. She chose 1 Timothy,
chapter -four, for the scripture
reading, then read a meditation and
a poem. Twelve members answered

her retirement after 50 years of
playing the organ at Trinity Church,

the numerous times she has assisted
at St. Stephen's. A thank -you from
Friendship. House, Goderich, was
also read, thanking the ladies for
donations. It was agreed that
donations be given again to
Friendship House and St. Monica's
House.
Rev. Brenda Clark closed the
meetingwith prayer. Lunch was
e roll call with a recipe for peace Served by Lynda Kerley and Jean
Underwood.

MUNICIPAL. ELECTIONS NOTICE
Even though the preliminary list of electors is finalized
sons are still eligible to vote in the upcoming elections under
certain circumstances:
-The qualification period to determine if you are eligible to
vote is September 6, 1988 to October 17, 1988.
-This applies to both owners of land and their spouses or
tenants of land and their spouses or residents in the
community.
