of the United Church Women met
Oct. 11 in the school room of the
church with 11 in attendance. In the
absence of Mrs. Sarah Anderson,
Mrs. Olive Bolt was in charge. Mrs.
Janisa Coultes reported about the
number of Mandates and copies of
The :Upper Room: Two volunteered
to take copies of The Upper Room to
Brookhaven and Callander Nursing
Homes.
For worship, Mrs. Bolt's theme

Owen Sound; Sauble Beach and
Marton. Honored guests were the
bride's two grandmothers, Mrs.
Wanda Sutton of Kitchener and Mrs.
Mary Redmond, Wingham.
The bride's mother wore a two-
piece cream lace suit with scalloped
hemline and a mauve orchid cor-
sage. The groom's mother chose a
pink organza dress with gray ac-
cessories and a corsage of pink and
white roses.
Following a three-week honey-
moon in the .British Isles and
France, the couple will reside in Kit-
chener. The bride is a legal secre-
tary for Sims, McKinnon law firm
and the groom, a plumber, is em-
ployed by Nelco Mechanical.

RATEPAYERS MEETING
