Demonstrations
assist farmers
The question of what equipment is
right for their land is best answered
by the farmers themselves, ac-
cording to Brent Kennedy, senior
soil conservation advisor for the
Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and
Food at Clinton. Farmers know what
conditions in which the land has to
function and its capabilities.
To assist farmers in making a
decision on which conservation tool
would work on their land, The Huron
Soil and Water Conservation District
has organized a demonstration day
for Thursday, Oct. 13. -
The day will consist of active
demonstrations involving dealers
from throughout the Huron -Perth
County areas, Tools included in the
demonstrations range from
rn0 • ed mouklboard plows, disc
chiseiplows, no -till drills, and deep -
till tools. •
Demonstrationsrill from 10 to 12
a.m. and ken 1 to 3 p.m. at the
property Calvin and Stanehristie,
