Madill Secondary School's cross-country runners travelled to Goderich last Monday, Sept. 26, to the Lakebank Invitational Meet. Schools from Huron, Perth and Lambton par- ticipated. 15th -and Sherry Dekker, 19th. When team points were added up, the Madill girls were third. There were two. Wingham com- petitors in the Junior girls division. Jenny . Chettleburgh finished 14th and Michelle.lilacDonald was 21st. Adam Armstrong was third, Don Pickard, sixth, Steve Rintoul, 21st and Mike Beldman, 27th in Junior boys', all with good efforts. In the Midget boys' competition, they Madill team did very well • with erriattveis in 2iid place, Bract Rhody, 5th, Jason Moir, 6th,. Glen Kerr, 27th and Chris Bridge, 29th. The Midget boys' team was second in the overall standings. The runners did very well in this first meet of the cross-country season.
