The, police say Mr. Young's
vehicle, a 1978 Dodge, was struck.by
a- Vehicle driven by Gordon James,
67, of Pei-divia when he fazled to
aia stopsign-at,Sideroad 15-16.

Mr. Young was taken to Winghain
and District Hospital by ambulance
for treatment of minor injuries.

-Whether or not there will be a race
for the reeveship of Howick Town-
ship remains to be seen. However,
as things now stand, it appears there
will be a different person occupying
council's top position.
Reeve perald D'Arcey who earlier
said he intended to seek re-election
as reeve, now says the pressure of
his own business has forced him to
change his mind.
Reeve D'Arcey said he will seek
election to council, but will probably
go for the deputy reeveship.
Meanwhile Conn. Norman Fairies
has indicated he will run for reeve
and Dep. Reeve John Jacques says
he will seek re;eittelltin toldS present

Coun. Fairies who left Tuesday

Contacted by this paper, Mrs.
Feldskov said she and a number of
friends had been sitting around
talking about the election.
"It was mentioned that a woman
should run and someone asked me
why didn't I run. I said no, but my
husband said yes, so with his
support, I'm considering it."
Mrs. Feldskov says she even has a
slogan for the upcoming campaign.
"The best 'man for the job is a
WOn*n."
In announcing that he has changed
his mind concerning running for the
reeveship again, Reeve ,D'Arcey of
