Gauld, a supervisor at the Wingham
library, was gust speaker when the
Women's Institute met Sept. 14 in
the ceMmunity hall. She tokl about
some of the different books -that are
available and how all can use and
benefit from the new building. Merle
Wilson introduced Mrs. Gauid and
Mrs. Norma Rintoul thanked her
and presented her with a gift.
President Mrs. Helen Currie
opened the meeting with the Ode and
Mary Stewart Collect. Mrs. Rintoul
welcomed the ladies at the door and
Mrs. Dave Gibb was the convener
for the. Education and Vilittirai
Activities meeting. The PUY iStabe
held on Oct UflderWood
Community Cefltre and the area
conventionat Hepv. orth on Oct. 23.
Mrs. Gibb gave the motto, "In
youth we leatin; in age we
understand". Roll Call was
answered by, 20- ladies, with 'IA
lesson in life I've -never forgotten".
Mrs. Jean Ross eenducted a
singsong.
At the close of the meeting, "God
Save The Queen" and Grace were
sung and the cominittee. of Miss
Wilson, Mrs. Gibb and Mrs. Ross
served lunch. -
