their support.
This year, 754 area students were
registered. These included students
from Wingham, Bluevale, Listowel,
Atwood, Palmerston, Gowanstown,
Drayton, Moorefield, Mount Forest,
Arthur and surrounding areas. Of
these, 554 were placed in a variety of
jobs such as babysitting, strawberry
picking, painting, secretarial
positions, construction, etc.
Although the student office is
closed, any students interested in
part-time or after-school work
during the fall and winter can
contact the Canada Employment
Centre, 210 Main St. E., Listowel, at
291-2920 or 1-800-265-3595.

The bride is a daughter of Mar-
gery Brown and Howard Brown,
both of Kitchener. Parents of the
groom are Mr. and Mrs. John Mann,
Wingham.
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride chose a floor -length off-the-
shoulder
ffthe-
shoulder gown of white satin
trimmed with pearls and sequins,
with an attached chapel train. She
carried a bouquet of white roses and
baby's breath.
Her close friend, Miss .Dianne
Fedy of Kitchener, was the bride's
maid of honor. Her ankle -length
dress featured a black velvet bodice
and white satin skirt and her all -
white bouquet was anarrangement
of roses and mini carnations,
touched with whispers of baby's
breath. In similar gowns and
carrying similar bouquets were the
bridesmaids, Miss Sandra Jantzi of
Wellesley, a friend of the bride and
Mrs. Caryn Johnston of Ottawa, the
-.groom's sister.
Larry Milosevic of Kingston, a
friend of the groom, was best man
and guests were ushered by brother's

Mrs. Audrey Fenton had the
misfortune to fracture her leg and is
now a patient in University Hospital,
London.
Mrs. Dorothy Logan, Belgrave

Kevin and Trevor of Wyoming,
returned home last week from a
holidayi-.travelling by mobile home
to the western provinces. They
visited with Mrs. Hazel ' Bailey of
PoxWarren, Manitoba; Mrs: Jessie
Lamont {Jim Lamont's mother) in
Moosamin, Saskatchewan and
McDowell .cousins in . Milk River,
Alberta. They also stopped off at the
Edmonton Mall, Columbia ice fields,
Jasper and Banff parks.
