Janice Ballagh and her sisters, Karen, Judith and Rhonda McMichael, danced several routines to the accompaniment of the Woods Family and Friends of Fergus. The Woods family is comprised of pianist Carolyn, as well as fiddlers Kendra, Bruce and Scott. They have been performing together for over 15 years. Their "friends" are Karl Watson on the bass guitar, Ivan Felkar, rhythm guitar and vocals and Gini Williams, vocals. Others entertaining were "Catch 44" and a barbershop quartet out of the Scarborough chapter called "The Dukes of Harmony". The entertainers were transported to and fro on a barge, allowing the girls to make quick costume chang- es. The 90 -minute concert in the quarry proved to be an enjoyable afternoon's entertainment ' for the almost 400 people who viewed it from the bleachers above.
