CRAIG KING of the Wingham Optimist Track and Field CIO won a
silver medal in the Midget, boys' shot put at the recent International
Youth Meet of Champions held in Toronto. King also won a
medal in the discus and a bronze in the javelin.

The Mentie DuVal ladies' lawn
bowling tournament was held last
Wednesday, Aug. 10, at the
Wingham Bowling Green.
First prize went to Audrey Mac-
Donald of Lucknow with three wins,
35. Marjorie Solomon, also of
Lucknow, was second with three
wins, 29 and Jean Robertson of
Wingham was third, two wins, 34
and a plus of one.
Mae Louttit, also of Wingham, was
the consolation winner and Laura
Johnston of Brussels won the
sportsmanship prize. Maudie

Wingham Optimist Track and Field Club, won the gold medal in the
Midget girls' ti-iple jump at the recent International Youth Meet of
