Mr. Lobb was described by presenter Carman Kaye, MVCA vice chairman, as one who led the way in advancing the cause of soil and water conservation in Huron County and throughout Ontario. He was instrumental in organizing the Huron Soil and Water Con- servation District, a grassroots body designed to oversee the Joint Soil and Water Conservation Program, and continues to be a strong force in the soil conservation movement. Presented to Chairman John Jewett on behalf of the HCBE, the board's certificate is in recognition of support for the MVCA's conservation education program at the Wawanosh Nature Centre.
