The play will be presented at the Kirkton Branch at 10 a.m., the Clinton Branch at 1:30 p.m. and the Wingham Branch at 3:30 p.m. The Young Company has created 'an affectionate cartoon -style look at the origins and development of the area around Grand Bend. With a mixture of original music, period songs, laughter and drama, this production moves briskly through the decades celebrating local triumphs and personalities. Sponsored by the Huron County Public Library, the production is family entertainment for all ages. ' - The PRIDE prograni provides assistance for projects in all older sections of a municipality, including residential, commercial, water? 1 front, industrial .and;mixed,use areas. Mr. Riddell said the program is designed to help municipalities. create an improved environment for investment,,, to create jobs and strengthen municipal tax bases. Financial assistance is inthe form of a grant covering 50 per cent of improvement, and bud acquisition costkfor comprehensive community improvement projects.• • -Project components eligible for PRIDE funding include: • , —Building, improving or replacing social and recreational facilities, municipal services, utilities and parking facilities intended to serve the project area. —Nsthetic improvements such as streetscape upgrading ,and land- scaping -r-Acquisition and clearance of land and buildings. - ' —Relocation costs including mov- ing coats and related compensation.
