Her parents were the late Henry Merk- ley and Martha Begley.kShe married William H. king and he predeceased her in 1962. She . was also, prede- ceased by her second husband, James J ° Elliott, in 1977. A resident\ of Culross Township, Kenneth R. Weishar of RR 2, Te water, lost his life in a motor vehi accident near Sudbury on Sund June 19 ; He was 24 years of age. The son of a Listowel couple, Weishar and his wife, the form Theresa Weber of Formosa, Ke neth was born May 15, 1964. resided in Listowel and Toron before moving to the second conce sion east of Culross recently. Left to mourn his sudden deat besides his. parents, are three si ters, Debbie Klein of RR 2, Tee water, Kathy Weishar of Toron and Diane Weishar, Listowel; h paternal grandparents, Ralph a d Rose Weishar of Teeswater maternal. grandparents, Joe an Korena Weber of Formosa.; brothe in=law, .Luke : Klein and one,niece Candice, as well as many aunts uncles and cousins. The Robert Trench -Funera Home, Listowel, was entrusted wit arrangements. Mass of the Christia Burial was. held. He was in h 72nd year. Born in Arthur on Feb. 19, 1917 Mr. Ritchie,. was a son of the lat William Ritchie and Clara Nash. H enlisted with the 100th Field Batts RCA (C.A.S.E.).on-Sept. 12,1939 an served as Battery Sergeant Major His service in the United Kingdom and continental Europe earned him the 1939-45 Star, France and Germany Star, Defence Medal and Canadian Voluntary Service Medal and Clasp. He was discharged on May 15, 1946. Mr. Ritchie was a member of. the Kincardine branch- of the Royal d Canadian Legion and a former n of _ member of the Howick branch.
