LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL .The 1987-88 school year is winding down for local youngsters. Here a
group of Wingham Public School students were playing basketball at recess last week.

Mrs. Cliff Marks and Mrs. Allan

Rev. John Neilson, their minister,
delivered a good sermon and the
church'i choir and the visiting Pine
River quartet sang several beautiful
old hymns. -
Mrs. Pearl Chester and Mrs.
Jennie Vittie of Port Colborne
visited a few days with Mrs. Mildred
Coupland. Mrs.. Marie Merkley,
Wingham, also visited one'day with
the ladies.
Friends were sdrry that Mrs. Tom
Leek was hospitalized in :University
Hospital, London, a few days last
week but were pleased to have her
return home on Thursday.
Mrs. Allan Griffith visited with ,
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bodfish in
London 'on Monday. Other cousins
there were Mr. and Mrs. Jim Wake,
Nepean and James Wake, London.
Enroute home she visited 'Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Eaton, Seaforth.
Don Adams, accompanied by his
nephew, Dale Schefter, Lloyd Nickel
and two grandsons of Fordwich,
travelled to Toronto to attend a Blue
Jays baseball game on Sunday.
Friends are pleased to hear Mrs.
H. L. Jennings is improving since
returning home from hospital.
Mrs. Gladys Ellis, St. Thomas,
-visited with Mr. and Mrs. Stewart
Musgrove on Sunday.
Peter • Isabelle, Mississauga, •
visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Clement.
