Helm, win- ners of the District Ladies' Better Ball Tournament in Seaforth. Friday. Night_Mixed Golfing starts at the regular time of 6 p.m. this week. There will be a couples' in- vitational tournament July 2 at the club. To date, they are scheduled to play, in the Gocierich tournament July 22 and 23 and the Coaches George Patterson and Bob Sangster are planning on other outings. Senior Smokies win tournament The senior members of the Wingham Smokies won the Lon- desborough Over -30 Slo-Pitch Tournament on the weekend in con- vincing style. The Smokies defeated Clinton 18-5 and Porter's Hill 15-3. The team defeated 1Vlarnock Maroons 10416 advance to the final game on Sunday. Soccer team ties Hanover The Wingham PeeWee soccer team, "Pegasus", tied Hanover 2-2 on• June 14. Wingham goals were scored by Duane Patterson.
