DOCTOR DIES
• In April of 1980, the front page of
The Advance -Times related the sad
news that Dr. R. Dennis Wilkins had
passed away suddenly. He had come
to Wingham in 1967 and, except for a
brief time in 1976 when he went to
Newfoundland, had practised here
since. A surgeon and general
practitioner, he was missed by
many patients and friends.
